The SA and NT joint CME runs many events to benefit Fellows and trainees throughout the year designed to encourage and support medical specialists in their training and continuing professional development. The College also aims to keep trainees and Fellows informed about anaesthesia and pain medicine events held around the world.

March ACE Meeting


Join us on Wednesday March 27, 2019 for the SA ACE meeting.  The speaker will be Dr David Jesudason, Director of Endocrinology at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, who will present "SGLT inhibitor class for diabetes - what the anaesthetist needs to know". For more information and to register, visit the event page.

 

May ACE Meeting


Join us at The Lion Hotel on Wednesday May 29, 2019 for the South Australia Anaesthesia Continuing Education (ACE) evening meeting. We welcome Associate Professor Peter Psaltis, Academic Interventional Cardiologist who will present "The role of oxygen therapy for acute myocardial infarction". 2019 biennial NT ACE Conference


Save the date for the biennial Northern Territory Anaesthesia Continuing Education (ACE) conference, which will be held at the Darwin Convention Centre. For more information, visit the event page.

 

SA Annual ACE Conference

Save the date on Saturday October 19, 2019 for the South Australia Anaesthesia Continuing Education (ACE) annual conference, which will be held at the National Wine Centre of Australia in Adelaide.

The conference theme is "patient blood management" and we welcome keynote speaker Dr Kerry Gunn, Deputy Clinical Director, Perioperative, Auckland City Hospital.
