Communication in Anaesthesia SIG
OBJECTIVE
The Communication in Anaesthesia Special Interest Group (SIG) plans to develop workshops and resources and provide guidance to help improve anaesthetists’ skills in all aspects of their work including patient care (for example, needle-phobic patients), working with surgeons and other health professionals, administrators and the media.
In addition, the SIG hopes to be able to provide support in teaching and research related to communication in anaesthesia.

Membership of Communication in Anaesthesia SIG is open to Fellows, members of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists and the New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists. Fellows of other colleges, practitioners and allied health professionals are encouraged to participate as associate members.
