OBJECTIVE

As its name suggests, the History of Anaesthesia Special Interest Group is primarily concerned with researching and presenting the history of anaesthesia.

If you have an interest in history and would like to participate, please feel welcome to join us!

 

ACTIVITIES

Members of the History of Anaesthesia SIG are invited to contribute to the ASA's Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Journal's History Supplement, which is an annual publication.

10th International Symposium on History of Anesthesia,  Kobe, Japan, 16-18 June 2022


This ISHA symposium, held every 4 years, will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Japanese Museum of Anesthesiology, is one of the most comprehensive museums of its type in the world.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership will be of two types:

Members: Fellows of ANZCA, or Ordinary Members of the ASA or NZSA who have a special interest in (HA SIG) anaesthesia.

Associate members: People with a special interest in (HA SIG) anaesthesia who are not entitled to be full members.
